Model, Pop Star, Goddess, Junkie, Icon.  An "entrancingly lurid" (Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly) documentary about the German ubermodel from cover girl to cameo in Fellini's La Dolce Vita; from European pop diva to Andy Warhol superstar and Velvet Underground zombie chanteuse in the late '60s; from self-destructive heroin addict to her death in 1988 from a cerebral hemorrhage at age 49. A scrupulous assemblage of home movies, performance clips and interviews with director and fellow Warhol superstar Paul Morrissey, Jackson Browne (Nico's lover when he was 17) and Nico's son by Alain Delon (although he denied paternity), Ari, whom she turned on to heroin.  75 minutes.
