An  anguished, eccentric Swedish opera director has a bizarre vision for a production of Mozart's Don Giovanni. His version of the opera demands extreme measures, including destroying the stage in order to install a pool, stripping the opera of its libretto, and freeing the artists of their inhibitions and clothing. Wonderful comic performances in a film that's "witty and uproarious" (New York Times). Swedish with English subtitles.  98 minutes.
