"Musa the Warrior"
2001
Directed by Kim Sung-su

Touted as the most expensive Korean film ever made, Musa the Warrior is a grand historical epic about an envoy from Koryo (ancient Korea) struggling to survive in war-torn China. In 1375, during the battles between the Yuan and Ming dynasties, a delegation traveling to China to ease strained relations is ambushed and exiled into the country. While there, they learn that a Ming princess (Zhang Ziyi, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) has been kidnapped and they resolve to save her. Korean and Mandarin with English subtitles.  157 minutes.
