"Grave of the Fireflies"

When fire bombing destroys their home, 14-year-old Seita and his four-year-old sister wander the ruined countryside. Unable to sustain themselves, the children eventually die. Just before the Americans land, an old janitor finds a small metal candy container and unwittingly frees the children's spirits. English and Japanese with English subtitles. Animation.  88 minutes.
