The American Cinematheque calls director Koji Wakamatsu "Japan's most notorious underground filmmaker, a combination of Godard, Gregg Araki, and Jesus Franco." Even that provocative description falls short of capturing Wakamatsu's blend of the raw and the refined, demonstrated in this film about two teenagers who fall in love even as their world falls apart. A sexually explicit tale of decadence and destruction. Japanese with English subtitles.  65 minutes.
