Italian writer, journalist and poet Curzio Malaparte, best known for his 1944 novel Kaputt,
is the story of a soldier who returns from the war after years in a POW camp to find that
his younger brother, a Resistance fighter, has been killed by the Nazis. Bent on revenge
against the person in his village who betrayed his brother to the enemy, he seeks
information from the war-weary townsfolk, but his rage and impatience lead him to kill the
wrong man. Italian with English subtitles.
