Set during the Six Day War, this Israeli film, noted for its stark realism, focuses on Tamar, an Israeli woman who loses her husband during the war. Her husband's friends don't want him forgotten, and this forces Tamar to become the ever-grieving widow who, living with her young son, tries to break away from the past, to develop new friends and relationships and establish a new life for herself.
