"The Policeman" A satirical film about
Azulai,
a soft-hearted policeman in Jaffa, whose superiors want to send him to
early retirement, but he would rather stay on the force. On
the eve of his retirement, the aging Azulai encounters religious zealots,
comes to the aid of a prostitute, and unwittingly solves a crime staged
for his benefit. A Golden Globe winner for Best Foreign Language Film and
