This witty and mystical film follows a young Japanese executive who is forced to perform a traditional memorial ceremony in Iceland.  He embarks on an austere spiritual journey which is alternately funny and moving. This Japanese-Icelandic road movie was directed by Fridrik Thor Fridriksson, who captures Iceland's stark landscape in a film Roger Ebert called "odd and beautiful." Starring Fridik Thor Dridrikson, Masatoshi Nagase, Lili Taylor, Fisher Stevens and Gisli Halldorsen.  English, Japanese and Icelandic with English subtitles.  85 minutes.
