"Magic Hunter"
1996
Directed by Ildiko Enyedi
David Bowie lent his
name to this film by the talented Hungarian director Ildiko Enyedi (My Twentieth
Century). The film is an inventive update of a Faustian tale set in modern Hungary,
about a Budapest police force sharpshooter (Gary Kemp) who makes a deal with a shady
colleague for seven magic bullets guaranteed to hit their target--but there is a price
that comes with the seventh bullet that the cop doesn't know about. Hungarian with English
subtitles.
