"Barjo"
1992
Directed by Jerome Boivin
A wacky French farce
based on the novel by Philip K. Dick, Barjo is the "slightly psychotic"
story of young, underdeveloped Barjo, who lives near his sister Fanfan, waiting for the
UFOs. When he accidentally burns down his house, he moves in with Fanfan, discovers sex,
and quietly drives Fanfan's husband insane. Nutty, off-the-wall comedy from the director
of Baxter. French with English subtitles.
85 minutes. |
