A run-down bus station in rural Cuba is the backdrop
for this magical mixture of romance and social commentary. A desperate group
of passengers wait and wait for their bus, but it never arrives. As they
come to the realization that they are stuck at the station, they use their
time to renovate their new home and engage in amorous pursuits. Shown as
part of the Un Certain Regard series at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival.
